The Katanning Saleyards, located on Dore Street, is one of the largest in Australia. Sheep sales are held every Wednesday with over 1 million sheep passing through the yards annually.

 

Council Committee is held on the third Tuesday of each month, starting at 5.30 pm in the Council Committee Room.

Ordinary Council is held on the fourth Thursday of each month, starting at 7.30 pm in the Council Chambers.

Ratepayers and members of the public are welcome to attend these meetings.
